Junior 8 Week Programme

Why the 8 week programme?

If you play golf then you will be familiar with the steep learning curve from beginner to competent player. With the variety of different shots required, golf takes a certain patience and character to learn which is why it is the perfect sport for young people to develop more than their ball hitting skills. The continuity gained from weekly sessions is key to motivation and ongoing improvement.

What is the aim of the 8 week course?

These courses continue from one term to the next. Our aim is to make the classes fun and educational with the long term goal of progressing the youngsters on to the course and becoming fully competent golfers. Many of the juniors who started in these groups 5 years ago are now members of golf clubs and have progressed to play for county teams.

How long are the sessions?

60 Minutes

How many are in the class?

We have a maximum of 10 per group

Who will be coaching the group?

Where as many clubs use their junior programme as a training ground for apprentice coaches, these courses will be personally coached by Noel Rousseau. Noel has a wealth of experience coaching juniors both privately and as the lead coach for county teams. He is also a Today’s Golfer magazine ‘Elite Coaching Professional.’

What is the cost?

The 8 week course is £80 payable on booking your child’s place on the course.
